App Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Clipor (hereinafter referred to as "the App") handles user information. The developer of the App (hereinafter referred to as "we") is committed to protecting the privacy of users.

2. Information We Collect

The App processes the following information locally on your device:

• Clipboard history (text and images copied by the user)
• User-created templates and template groups
• Application settings and preferences

3. How We Use Information

All information processed by the App is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Providing clipboard history management functionality
• Providing template management functionality
• Saving and restoring user preferences and settings

4. Data Storage

All data is stored locally on the user's device in the following location:

• Storage location: %LOCALAPPDATA%\Clipor\
• Database: SQLite (history.db)
• Settings: JSON format (settings.json)

When password protection is enabled, clipboard history is encrypted using AES-256-GCM with PBKDF2 key derivation.

5. Data Transmission

The App does not transmit any data to external servers. All processing is performed locally on the user's device. The App does not include any analytics, tracking, or telemetry functionality.

6. Third-Party Sharing

We do not provide, sell, or share any user information to third parties. Since all data is stored locally and no data is transmitted externally, there is no possibility of third-party access through the App.

7. User Rights

Users have the following rights regarding their data:

• Delete individual clipboard history entries at any time through the App
• Clear all clipboard history at once
• Delete templates and template groups

8. Windows Registry Access

The App accesses the Windows Registry only for the following purpose:

• Configuring auto-startup on Windows boot (HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run)

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not specifically targeted at children under the age of 13. Since the App does not collect or transmit any personal information, it does not knowingly collect data from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. We encourage users to review this page periodically for any changes.
